Collaboration Accounts!
While browsing BlogTV, I noticed an uprising in collaboration accounts. Ranging from AsiansForLife, HotAsianChicks, Bra_Squad, and FlavoroftheWeek. I’ve seen these four on a regular basis, but there seems to be yet another one arising.
Before we get into that, let me explain what a collab account is to you. A collab account is an account with multiple broadcasters broadcasting on different days of the week. For example, I broadcast on an account named “Gossip”. I broadcast on Gossip on Monday, my friend broadcasts on Gossip on Tuesday, etc. all the way to Friday. Most broadcasters go Monday-Friday. These accounts have been on the rise and continue to be a popular trend for people that want a good package wrapped into one account.
But however, a new collaboration that I noticed today is called 5by5. It was just created on October 29, 2008. This account however does have a lineup of entertaining broadcasters. They have Emiliey, Lavenderdays, Hmchammer-, Xitskaibabyyy, and Thedutchmann. This is quite a lineup that is surely guaranteed to offer some good fun. When I asked Kai why they were doing a collab account, she responded by saying, “Because we can.”

Collaboration accounts are definitely a change from the usual broadcasting that we see. You know that 5 out of the 7 days of the week you will be getting a new broadcaster everytime. Check out all of the collaboration accounts mentioned on this article! They all have something new to offer everyday.
Gollum loves what he does.
Tonight a guy named by Gollum dressed up as one of the characters from Lord of the Rings. He put on quite a performance as he shocked viewers with his big ears, realistic hair, and spot-on makeup. His wardrobe looked just like it would in the movie, not bad for someone who went to Party City.

He also showed us the ring. He then started to talk about Obama. Does Gollum support Obama because his ears look like his? We will never know, but he is definitely starting Halloween celebrations off on a scary (looking) note.

I’ve noticed these three countries are where the main broadcasters are from. Now, of course, there are always those others from random countries but these three are the top 3. I have a poll because I’m curious to what you guys think.
Shubby’s Subscribe-a-Thon!
Duncan Smith, also known as broadcaster Shubby, is a friendly New York born broadcaster who likes to have fun with his viewers. He responds to almost everything in his chat and also is a man of many faces.
Shubby used to be a stand-up comedian back in 2001 but has far strived off that path. With the standup background behind his belt, he always has jokes to tell and stories that make you laugh.

Coming this November 1st from 11 AM to 11 PM, Shubby is going to be doing a 12-hour broadcast, LIVE from Times Square, New York City. This isn’t the first time someone has broadcasted from Times Square. Lorax1515 has done a show from Times Square in which he had to wax his chest in front of all the people there. But Shubby plans to do a whole 12-hour show at Times Square; lets hope his battery can last.
So what exactly can he do for 12 hours at Times Square? Well, he actually has a list of things he plans to do.
1) He plans to raffle things of his off. We don’t know what he’s raffling nor do we know if people actually want any of his stuff, but he is doing it regardless.
2) He’s going to bring a portable megaphone to promote BlogTV to people and help it gain popularity and to help him get subscribers.
3) He plans to dress up as these crazy, wacky, and colorful characters and plans to interact with the people on the street playing a game called “15 seconds of talent” where people are given 15 seconds to showcase their best talent.
These are just a few of the things that Shubby plans to accomplish in his 12-hour long show. The man loves the concept of BlogTV and the fact that it gives people a chance to showcase talent, speak freely, and have a good time with friends.
When i was speaking with Shubby, he was telling me how much he loves BlogTV. When I asked him if he would like to say anything before I left, he said, “Obviously, blogTV has something to offer the world. Not just America, but the world, and um… just look, we have great people like umm… Sxephil, Rocklin, you know all these great people. What’s great about this is, BlogTV gives you the chance to speak your mind and hang out with your friends. It lets me see smiles. America needs BlogTV. I love, LOVE the BlogTV brass. And by brass, I mean the people that own the BlogTV thing. I love performing, If i could just get paid for this, it’d be great. I’m in the process of looking into it.”
Shubby does his regular show every Saturday at 6 PM EST. Of course if you were to subscribe to him, you would be able to see him do “secret shows”. Remember to check him out on November 1st 11 AM to 11 PM – he will definitely guarantee some fun for you.

BlogTV Relationships?!
Three words, two people, one terrifying meaning: Long Distance Relationship. Is it possible? With the use of BlogTV.com, yes it is!
Ever since my discovery of BlogTV.com, I have noticed blog users of both genders and all ages have been engaging in long distance relationships. Such as vobot and SINxJAE and the newest lovebirds to the scene, Nathaliiee and riichhh (Note: This list does not include all relationships from BlogTV.com, nor is this list proof that their dating is official.).
Now for what you all have been waiting for… GOSSIP TIME! But before we start, I would like to add that it is called “Gossip Time” for a reason as opposed to “Facts Time” or “This-Is-The-Truth Time”

Round One
According to several different resources and events I have witnessed myself on blog, vobot (21 year old female, Canada) and SINxJAE (27 year old male, California) shared an infatuation towards one another not too long ago. However, tensions started to rise as SINxJAE fell “head-over-dunks” for vobot, buying her accessories from The Apple Store, buying her other presents such as the stuffed animal, and also writing and performing songs about vobot on BlogTV.com. Vobot, recently getting out of a serious relationship, was not ready for this. What happened to the lovely two? THEY never happened.
Round Two
One of the newest people on BlogTV, Nathaliiee (18 year old female, Pennsylvania), is not wasting time sitting around being single. One suspicion we on BlogTVNews have is how she is always talking to riichhh(19 year old male, Washington). If they are not cohosting each other on blog, they are either texting each other, talking on skype, on the phone, one on one video, or any other outside communication. Nothing is official yet nor guaranteed, but people are waiting for the day when Nathaliiee and riichhh admit their feelings toward one another if they haven’t as of yet.

4chan strikes again!
She is sad...
4chan strikes yet again! This time they go for an innocent young girl by the name of Sweetkitty3094. They joined her room and called her “overweight”, “fat”, and other insults that have to do with size.
If you have ever seen a 4chan raid, they always pack in numbers. Pretty soon she had almost 200 people in her room telling her how “fat” she is. This eventually got to her and she started to break down. She even made a comment about how she should “just commit suicide.”
She said she's not crying, you decide for yourself.
Of course 4chan showed no remorse as they kept telling her she was this and that although she was absolutely sad and pretty mad about the whole ordeal. But in a way isn’t it her fault? I mean, if people online make you cry and show no signs of stopping, would you stay on? The jackass would say yes, but the realist would get off.
Then again, she is only 14 years old, which brings me back to my last article about children. They will just never learn. I’ve done two articles on children in the past hour about stupid choices and irrational decisions. What does that say about BlogTV’s policy to let 13 year olds + broadcast? Maybe the old system should be back in place, for all of our sakes.

Tonight I stumbled upon a room that had a young girl in it. The broadcasters name is mle11pnk. Her profile said she’s 13, she’s apparently taking advantage at BlogTV’s mistake of lowering the broadcasting age to 13.
Broadcaster, mle11pnk broadcasting admitting to her viewers she is bisexual.
With that said, she goes and openly admits that she is a bisexual to her viewers. She even has a girlfriend who she had come over her house at one point during the show. She was taken off camera because she was taking a shower.
But, how does a 13 year old determine she is bisexual at 13? Sure, you can say it, but at such a young age she has no idea what she wants. They say they are a couple but I’m almost certain they are too young to even take that relationship serious. If anything, they are just really good friends.
She later got a phone call as well from her job because she got promoted to assisstant position! Assisstant position at 13? What kind of job is that? Well, she works for the Kentucky Paranormal Investigators. I guess they are looking for the ghost of Colonel Sanders or something.
She claimed that when she got 50 viewers she would make out with her girlfriend. Well, she did reach 50 viewers, and seeing as how I am a reporter, I had to get the scoop. Unfortunately, she did not deliever nor did I want to stay in that show any longer. However, she did go out of her way to show us her pale stomach… who is the real ghost here?

Bottom line to all broadcasters under 16: Do not follow under this girl’s footsteps. If you get a room full of perverts, ignore them. Do not feed the fire. Also, realize you are still young and you don’t know what you want in life even though you think you may.
BlogTV and Politics?
The ObamaGirl has made her way into BlogTV.
With the upcoming Presidential Elections about to partake in the United States, it seems as though the political spirit is starting to shine throughout BlogTV. Now while a majority of the BlogTV broadcasters are uneligible to vote due to the fact that some of them are underage, citizenship mishaps, or because they don’t even live in the country, the topic of politics has been a somewhat hot topic even for those that cannot vote.
We here at BlogTV News don’t support one candidate or another. We feel as though each candidate has equal chance of winning, but of course people on BlogTV like to speak their mind. (The next paragraph does not represent BlogTV as a whole, but just as a majority of the people broadcasting from 6-7 PM on October 27, 2008.)
We went around different rooms asking broadcasters whether or not they support Obama or McCain and most broadcasters were either undecided or for Obama. Not even did one person instantly say McCain when I asked “Hello there. Which presidential candidate do you support? I am conducting a survey.”
Polls conducted by various surveys have shown that the younger generation does tend to sway more toward Obama. Our little escapade around Blog sure did prove that point correct because we noticed that most of the bloggers that we asked were in fact young, some unable to even vote, but still had support for a candidate.

Even a popular Youtuber, Amber Lee Ettinger aka “The Obama Girl”, has made a small cameo apperance on BlogTV. For those of you unfamiliar with who “The Obama Girl” is, her popular youtube video “I Got A Crush on Obama” by Barely Political is a music video where she shows her undying love for Barack Obama. It is actually good to see people getting involved in politics. It is especially good to see that the younger crowd is actually paying attention to the politics. Maybe it won’t make them fall under than stereotype that all kids under the age of 16 are all immature, little brats, but that story is saved for another day.
For those of you that are not keeping up with the Presidential Race, now is the time to start reading newspapers, websites, and party platforms for your future is going to be determined on your participation. (Assuming you are old enough to vote)
Early voting has started but the actual election will be on November 7, 2008. Make sure you have your television sets tuned to any news station that day to see who our new President will be. It is sure to be one of the most controversial races ever held.
On a final note: Make sure you exercise your right to vote because it is a right we take for granted. So get out of the house and vote. BlogTV is not going anywhere.
